As a Machine Learning Engineer Graduate in the Search E-commerce team at TikTok, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the search algorithm for TikTok's rapidly expanding global e-commerce business. Your mission will be to help build a world where no good-priced product is hard to sell, thereby improving the overall shopping experience for users. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing query analysis and text relevance matching to enhance the basic search quality and user experience. You will delve into e-commerce video content to implement multi-modal matching techniques, aiming to improve users' perception of product authority. Additionally, you will be involved in the design and implementation of core search products, focusing on comprehensively improving the end-to-end shopping experience from browsing to after-sales support. You will also design and implement the end-to-end ranking system, which includes recall, first-stage ranking, final-stage ranking, and mixed row strategies. This will involve improving personalized shopping interest models and enhancing shopping conversion efficiency for merchandise, video, and live streams to promote growth in gross merchandise volume (GMV). Furthermore, you will address industry challenges such as supply and demand matching, business cold starts, and sustainable business growth, analyzing and adjusting the system's evolution to achieve long-term GMV growth.
