About the position

The position involves developing and optimizing intelligent customer service and machine translation solutions for TikTok Shopping. The role focuses on enhancing user experience through natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning technologies, particularly large language models. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with product and operation teams to design and implement innovative solutions that improve communication and product listing across regions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the intelligent customer service of TikTok shopping.
• Work closely with product and operation teams to understand user intentions and design conversational solutions.
• Develop NLP models for text classification, machine reading, and summarization.
• Optimize machine translation services for cross-region product listings and buyer-seller communication.
• Create multi-modal AIGC models for product copywriting, including titles and descriptions.
• Build intent classifiers and manage high-quality labeled data for machine learning models.
• Map user shopping journeys to chatbot actions using prediction models.
• Understand business requests to develop generation models and fine-tune large language models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, or related disciplines.
• Experience with large language models, natural language generation, and machine translation.
• Work experience in e-commerce or the Internet industry is preferred.
• Practical experience in NLP projects, especially in dialogue systems and machine translation.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience in big data development using tools like Hive or Spark.
• Publication of high-quality papers in relevant conferences is preferred.

• Experience in developing NLP-related projects in information retrieval or advertising systems.
