The Machine Learning Engineer for Large Language Models is a pivotal role within our team, focusing on the research and application of large-scale models. You will engage in data construction, instruction tuning, preference alignment, and model optimization to ensure the highest performance of our models. Additionally, you will implement relevant applications that include content generation, reasoning, and code generation, contributing to the advancement of our technology. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to apply new scientific insights responsibly in the development and deployment of large language models. Your research will delve into future usage scenarios, ensuring that our technology remains at the forefront of innovation and user engagement.

Responsibilities

• Explore and develop large-scale language models and optimize enterprise applications.
• Engage in data construction, instruction tuning, preference alignment, and model optimization.
• Implement applications including content generation, reasoning, and code generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to responsibly develop and deploy large language models.
• Conduct in-depth research into future usage scenarios for large language models.

Requirements

• Excellent coding ability with strong skills in data structures and fundamental algorithms, proficient in C/C++ or Python.
• Experience in NLP, ranking, advertising, search engines, recommender systems, distributed systems, or machine learning.
• Familiarity with NLP and CV-related algorithms and technologies, as well as large-scale model training and reinforcement learning algorithms.
• Strong problem analysis and solving skills, particularly in large-scale model training and application.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to explore new technologies and promote progress within the team.
• Mandarin speaking is preferred.
