Responsibilities

  • Undertake research in relevant areas to achieve project milestones and schedules in collaboration with team members.
  • Identify and assist with the acquisition of funding from public, private, and governmental sources.
  • Search scientific literature to select and modify methods and procedures for research goals.
  • Write and present research/study status reports and manage regular updates with customers.
  • Prepare research results for publication in conferences and journals.
  • Involve and mentor graduate students in research-related activities.

Requirements

  • An advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in data analysis and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn).

Nice-to-haves

  • A PhD is preferred.
  • Background and experience in Space Weather Modeling and Forecasting.
