As part of our E-commerce team, we are focused on connecting customers with excellent sellers and quality products through innovative solutions like live-streaming and short videos. The E-commerce Recommendation and Marketing team is composed of applied machine learning engineers and research scientists dedicated to enhancing the shopping experience for TikTok users by developing and scaling our recommendation systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building optimization algorithm strategies for our large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithm pipeline, which handles millions of products and creators' content. You will create user interest models, analyze vast amounts of data, and design algorithms that efficiently explore users' latent interests. Your work will involve developing predictive models for candidate generation and ranking, including Click Through Rate and Conversion Rate predictions, and you will be expected to build real-time data pipelines and innovate in model optimization. You will also design and build supporting tools for debugging and analysis as needed. This position is crucial for ensuring that our recommendation systems provide a stable and high-quality shopping experience for our users, ultimately driving impact for our company and the communities we serve.
