About the position

The Lead Machine Learning Engineer - Semiconductor will oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, focusing on semiconductor manufacturing challenges. This role involves leading the development and deployment of machine learning algorithms while mentoring a team of engineers and data scientists in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the development and deployment of machine learning algorithms for semiconductor manufacturing challenges.
• Mentor and lead a team of engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the semiconductor industry or in manufacturing environments is required.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and deep learning techniques.
• Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, Weights & Biases and/or OpenAI.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Java, C++) and cloud platforms (Azure).
