About the position

The Machine Learning Engineer will design and implement innovative solutions to challenges in machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) within a rapidly growing SaaS startup. This role involves collaborating with data scientists and engineers to develop cutting-edge algorithms that enhance the company's products and services, while also providing opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning systems to solve complex problems and improve products and services.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand their needs and design appropriate solutions.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns for algorithm improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and incorporate them into work.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree or PhD is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and principles; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) is essential; practical experience with LLMs is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly.
• A passion for machine learning and a desire to stay current with industry developments.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate across disciplines.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
