About the position

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for leading research and engineering efforts in machine learning, specifically focusing on natural language processing (NLP). This role involves analyzing problem domains, determining architecture for machine processing solutions, and creating scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions. The engineer will also define best practices for machine learning architecture and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Own the Machine Learning research and engineering efforts.
• Analyze problem domains and determine overall architecture for natural language machine processing solutions.
• Determine data type, format, and quantity requirements.
• Select appropriate regression and/or machine learning models to apply.
• Create and deliver working, scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions.
• Define Machine Learning architecture best practices and keep up to date with evolving open-source frameworks.
• Conduct feature engineering to improve model performance on key business metrics.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience building natural language machine learning models.
• Strong skills in Python, NLTK, and NLP.
• Experience in using machine learning frameworks for natural language processing.
