About the position

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between research and production by collaborating closely with science teams. This position requires a unique blend of engineering expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision, along with a strong technical foundation and a focus on product development. Your primary responsibility will be to implement innovative machine learning systems, integrate products, and optimize performance releases for deployment in production environments. You will ensure that all solutions adhere to CI/CD compliance and follow best practices in software development and cloud infrastructure, particularly concerning scalability, security, and availability. In this role, you will own the development and operationalization of solutions that are deployed in production. You will work collaboratively across multiple teams to integrate our solutions with products owned by our partners, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. Additionally, you will design model experimentation processes and frameworks that align with the work of our scientists, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement. Your contributions will also include helping the team grow by cultivating best practices in software development, MLOps, and experimentation, which are crucial for the success of our machine learning initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass model training, data pre-processing, and providing ongoing support for model lifecycle management. With a strong emphasis on AWS development, you will leverage AWS products to build and enhance our machine learning capabilities. This position is ideal for individuals with a minimum of five years of experience in machine learning, particularly those who have held previous ML titles and possess familiarity with tools such as TensorFlow and the R scripting language for statistics.
