About the position

The Machine Learning Engineer will play a crucial role in a growing Machine Learning team within a well-known AdTech firm. This position involves designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models to solve complex problems, deploying these models into production, and collaborating with software engineering teams to ensure optimal performance and scalability. The role also includes monitoring model performance, documenting methodologies, and communicating findings to stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems across various domains including recommendation systems, natural language processing, and predictive analytics.
  • Deploying machine learning models into production environments, and collaborating with software engineering teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Monitoring model performance and behavior in production, proactively identifying and addressing issues to maintain optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Documenting methodologies, processes, and findings, sharing insights and best practices with the broader team to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives, communicating findings and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and business impact.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience developing and debugging in Python, GoLang, and Perl.
  • Knowledge of TensorFlow and model deployment tools like Airflow, Databricks, AWS, and Docker.
  • Extensive experience in the AdTech/Ad auctioning space.
  • Experience in mode-based modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in statistics and/or mathematics is highly preferred.
