About The Position

The Machine Learning Engineer position is a critical role within an AI/ML start-up focused on developing software for self-driving cars. The engineer will be responsible for architecting, coding, and tuning large-scale machine learning models, contributing to the safety and navigation capabilities of autonomous vehicles. Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Mathematics or similar fields.
• Previous experience building and operating large scale AI/ML systems is preferred.
• 5+ years working in a modern software engineering environment.
• Experience with key ML technologies such as Theano or Torch.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of large scale machine learning models including the design, building and tuning of models.
• Play a key role in shaping the future direction of their AI/ML teams.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, product and design functions within the business.
• Mentor junior members of the team.
