About the position

The Machine Learning Engineer at EVident Battery will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models to enhance the company's innovative non-destructive inspection and scanning solutions for EV battery packs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative team, leveraging advanced technologies to improve data management and analysis in the rapidly evolving EV battery industry.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deploy machine learning models.
  • Develop robust data pipelines to support machine learning systems.
  • Train, fine-tune, and maintain deep learning and machine learning systems for EV battery services.
  • Consult with managers to determine and refine machine learning objectives.
  • Construct data-optimized data pipelines to feed and support machine learning models.
  • Implement automated, reproducible cloud infrastructure provisioning.
  • Develop APIs and backend services for data-driven applications and real-time data visualization.
  • Collaborate with machine learning engineers to deploy models into production.
  • Enhance technology platform features based on user feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 year of full-time experience for PhD holders, 2 years for Master's holders, and 3 years for Bachelor's holders in machine learning, data engineering, or data science.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
  • Experience with deep learning and machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch/PyTorch-Lightning, sklearn).
  • Understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and principles of data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, Express.js) and API development.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) technologies like Terraform is a plus.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to a rapidly growing startup and passionate about continuous learning.
