About the position

The Machine Learning Engineer at Qloo will play a crucial role in the Applied Machine Learning team, focusing on developing and maintaining machine learning models that enhance customer experiences and align with business goals. This position involves working collaboratively with various teams to implement and scale machine learning solutions, particularly in Geospatial and Taste Analysis models, which are essential to the company's offerings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing data pipelines and improve the end-to-end modeling process.
• Enhance and evolve Geospatial and Taste Analysis models.
• Take ownership of coding and documentation efforts, ensuring best practices and scalability.
• Lead the design, rebuild, and improvement of key machine learning pipelines with minimal oversight.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering.
• A degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or Physics; advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong Python, SQL, and/or PySpark skills.
• Knowledge and experience with statistical modeling, especially in its application for ML modeling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up culture.
