About the position

The Machine Learning Engineer at Cephable will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models that enhance the functionality and user experience of our assistive technology products. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve complex problems and enhance product functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define machine learning requirements and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and features for model training.
  • Evaluate and optimize machine learning models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Monitor and maintain deployed models, ensuring they continue to perform as expected.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.
  • Conduct research and experiments to develop new machine-learning algorithms and approaches.
  • Document machine learning processes, models, and findings for future reference.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role in data science or software development.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or C++.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and tools such as ONNX, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the assistive technology industry.
  • Familiarity with accessibility technologies and standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with Automatic speech recognition, computer vision, and generative AI.
