About the position

The Machine Learning Engineer at Actalent will engage with business teams to identify opportunities for AI and machine learning solutions. The role involves designing, building, and deploying advanced AIML models to address complex business challenges, while also collaborating with engineers and infrastructure partners to ensure robust and scalable implementations. The engineer will communicate insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and stay updated on the latest trends in AI and data science.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business teams to identify opportunities for AIML solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy AIML models to solve complex business problems.
• Understand key performance metrics to highlight operational issues and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and infrastructure partners for scalable solutions.
• Communicate results and insights to partners and leaders with actionable recommendations.
• Research and present new ideas to enhance the team's technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience in AI System Development
• Foundational Model Lifecycle Training
• Proficient in Large Language Models (LLMs) Architecture
• Experience with MLflow
• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Knowledge of NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, GPT-3, BERT, Hugging Face's Transformers)
• Experience with proprietary models (e.g., GPT-4) and open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral)
• Ability to define problems, acquire data, and manage full-cycle deployment.
