About the position
The Machine Learning Engineer role at our AI-focused Series A startup involves deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models and image gathering hardware in operational environments, particularly in industrial manufacturing. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Engineering team to refine models based on real-time data and customer feedback, contributing to the continuous improvement of our AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deploy machine learning models and image gathering hardware in operational environments.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of machine learning models.
- Refine models based on real-time data and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure optimal performance and scalability of AI solutions.
- Drive to various client locations as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in deploying machine learning models in field environments, preferably within manufacturing and/or automotive sectors.
- Programming skills in Python and familiarity with cloud-based and edge computing environments.
- Proficient in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with real-time system monitoring and model performance tuning.
- Independent work style with effective communication skills across different teams.
- Working knowledge within AWS, GCP & Azure cloud environments.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with few shot learning and transfer learning techniques.
- Experience with model optimization.
