About the position

The Machine Learning Research Scientist will contribute to the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and maintenance of complex software systems. This role involves working with enterprise-level Java programming and Python for data analysis, particularly in the healthcare domain, while also engaging with various stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure using Java programming.
• Lead clinical data retrieval and data analysis activities.
• Evaluate different medical data standards including OHDSI common data model and i2b2 COM.
• Summarize results in scientific articles and submit to academic conferences and journals.
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand project demands and data warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Experience in Java programming language.
• Proficiency in SQL and infrastructure system design.
• Ability to track and finish project milestones.
• Experience in data warehouse development and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Python programming for data analysis.
• Experience in healthcare data standards.
