About the position

The Machine Learning Scientist - NLP - Senior Associate role at JPMorgan Chase's Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) focuses on leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance the bank's operations. This position involves applying advanced machine learning techniques to complex tasks, particularly in natural language processing (NLP), and collaborating with various teams to deploy innovative solutions that align with the firm's commercial goals.

Responsibilities

• Research and explore new machine learning methods through independent study and participation in knowledge sharing.
• Develop state-of-the-art machine learning models for real-world applications, including NLP, speech recognition, and recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with partner teams across the organization to deploy machine learning solutions into production.
• Drive firm-wide initiatives by creating large-scale frameworks to accelerate the application of machine learning models.

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Optimization, or Data Science) or an MS with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Solid background in NLP or speech recognition and analytics, with hands-on experience in machine learning and deep learning methods.
• Extensive experience with machine learning and deep learning toolkits.
