About the position

As a Machine Learning Scientist at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in an engineering team dedicated to developing next-generation health features utilizing advanced sensing technologies. Our algorithm team is responsible for critical health functionalities on the Apple Watch, including ECG monitoring, arrhythmia detection, oxygen saturation measurement, and sleep tracking. We are seeking a Machine Learning Scientist/Lead who possesses a deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning methodologies, data science principles, failure analysis, and human physiology. Your strong programming skills and expertise in framework optimization will be essential in driving our projects forward. In this role, you will be tasked with developing innovative algorithms that extract valuable insights from sensor and health data while optimizing performance through machine learning and deep learning techniques applied to large datasets. Additionally, you will evaluate and model end-user performance and impact, providing critical feedback to enhance our products. Your collaboration with team members will also extend to the development of optimized frameworks that facilitate machine learning experiments, ensuring that our methodologies are both effective and scalable.

Responsibilities
