About the position

The Machine Maintenance Associate position at Innovative Staff Solutions in Henderson, KY, involves maintaining and repairing production machines and robotic equipment. Responsibilities

  • Remove, replace, and repair production machines, robotic equipment, and maintenance tools.
  • Identify vendors, oversee tasks, and order parts for machine and equipment repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and robotic issues.
  • Train machine operators for minor maintenance tasks.
  • Perform or ensure completion of preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Update preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facility equipment (air compressors, welding gas system, electrical room, HVAC equipment).
  • Inspect cranes, machines, and fork trucks.
  • Process work orders and maintain detailed paperwork.
  • Service and repair field equipment from job sites promptly (e.g., diesel generators, power panels, welders, wire feeders, mobile welding machines).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years' manufacturing experience, skilled trade preferred
  • Electrical, mechanical, or multi-craft skills required
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, machine drawings, and schematics
  • Knowledge of robots, CNC, and PLC programming a plus
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiar with diesel generators, electrical motors, and voltages (480 VAC, 24VDC)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Preventive Maintenance software
  • Professional presentation and attitude
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective planning and organization skills
  • Knowledge of Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Systems
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S a plus
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 65 feet

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of robots, CNC, and PLC programming
