About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various machinery. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and safety of our production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Analyze mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, including logic controllers and industrial machinery.
• Fabricate parts as needed using stick welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
• Utilize scissor lifts safely to access elevated work areas for maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices in industrial maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machine operation and repair.
• Proficiency in electrical systems related to industrial equipment is preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop logical solutions effectively.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
• Experience with scissor lifts and other lifting equipment is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork and documentation processes.

Nice-to-haves

• A background in military service or training related to industrial maintenance is advantageous but not required.
