About the position
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient manufacturing of our wire while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wire drawing machinery to produce high-quality product.
- Set up and changeover of machines according to specifications, ensuring precision and accuracy in every step of the process.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and gauges, to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
- Document production processes and report any discrepancies or defects to supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
