Requirements

  • Knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, as well as quality control principles.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with vendors, suppliers, and team members.
  • Root cause problem-solving skills highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging equipment, ensuring accurate setup and maintenance.
  • Perform changeovers on all equipment following established procedures.
  • Fix and repair equipment malfunctions using mechanical knowledge.
  • Identify quality problems and collaborate with teams to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and parts, ordering replacements as needed.
  • Assist with improvement projects and equipment installations with the engineering team.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring safe operation of equipment.
  • Document maintenance and repair work according to established procedures.
  • Attend required training sessions to stay updated on new equipment and technologies.
