About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery to maximize production and efficiency at Surlean Foods. This entry-level position requires adherence to safety and quality standards while performing various tasks related to packaging and equipment operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team effort.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Understanding of good manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and lockout/tag out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete all paperwork related to the job.
• Lock out equipment before set up.
• Inspect equipment during set up following product specifications.
• Report abnormalities to Supervisor.
• Ensure all packaging materials comply with product specifications and quality standards.
• Carefully seal all packing materials to protect them from contaminants.
• Return packaging to designated storage area.
• Lock out equipment before disassembling.
• Responsible for dry pick up.
