Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wood equipment according to technical specifications.
- Perform 100% inspection of finished products before moving to the next stage.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams within the work cell.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area following 5S procedures.
- Communicate quality issues with team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a metal fabrication environment operating machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and dimensions.
- Proficiency in using air and electric hand tools such as grinders and drills.
- Ability to measure parts accurately using calipers and tape measures.
