About the position

The Machine Operator position at Aerotek involves operating machinery to cut labels for various companies. The role requires continuous monitoring of print and seam quality, handling defective materials, and ensuring proper splicing of the roll web. The operator will also be responsible for palletizing rolls to prevent damage and understanding basic printing defects. This is a hands-on, fully on-site role based in Batavia, Ohio, with opportunities to participate in special projects and other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate a machine that cuts labels for companies.
• Continuously check for print and seam quality.
• Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together per specifications.
• Utilize a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedures.
• Handle rolls and palletize them accordingly to avoid damage.
• Understand basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in machine operating.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with logistics operations.
