About the position
Savita Naturals, Ltd is seeking dedicated Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts to manage the operation of production machines in a specialty seed oil extraction facility. The role involves setting up, running, and maintaining machines while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring product quality. Operators will work in a physically demanding environment and collaborate with team members to achieve efficient production goals.
Responsibilities
- Set up the machine to run and keep machines in good working order
- Follow all safety protocols and perform machine changeovers
- Work in a hot, dirty, and physically demanding environment
- Assist other operators as required
- Collaborate with packers and quality control to ensure product quality
- Physically move product between machines using a forklift or shovel
- Record and submit production information during the shift
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift experience
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Punctuality and good attendance
