About the position

The Machine Operator: Belt & Pack Specialist III role at Bosch involves working in a team environment to manage various stations of the Belt & Pack machine, ensuring efficient production processes. The position requires setting up and adjusting machine aggregates, maintaining quality standards, and troubleshooting machine issues. The operator will be responsible for completing training measures and adhering to safety procedures while contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage various stations of the Belt & Pack machine.
• Set up and adjust machine aggregates based on product type specifications.
• Report hourly machine outputs and downtimes.
• Complete set up of Belt & Pack Packaging and Belt-Joining Lines.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices such as BPS/6S/Value Stream/CIP.
• Make adjustments at various stages of the production process to meet quality expectations.
• Load and unload materials and operate pin lift and pallet lift.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs according to escalation plan.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain machine cleanliness and tool organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school required.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 40lb boxes.
• General math skills and ability to multitask.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in machine operations preferred.
