About the position
Wenger Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator in our Cabinet area responsible for operating the department machines (saw, router, edge bander) under limited supervision within assigned areas in a manner that meets or exceeds established quality and quantity standards. To better balance the needs of your personal life, Wenger Corporation provides best-in-class, family-friendly scheduling for our manufacturing team. Our flexible options include four 10-hour shifts and overtime Fridays. When the unexpected does arise, we'll work with you to help you be where, and when, you are needed most.
Responsibilities
- Operate department machines (saw, router, edge bander) under limited supervision.
- Run multiple CNC machines, work in assembly, and pack finished goods.
- Perform inspections of materials and piece parts.
- Perform set-ups on equipment and in assembly areas.
- Complete paperwork and computer transactions.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and execute multiple responsibilities throughout the area.
- Able to communicate and work in a team environment.
- Ability and willingness to navigate through various computer screens proficiently.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to operate CNC equipment.
- Able to plan and accommodate schedule changes.
- Read and understand blueprints and work orders.
- Ability to obtain forklift license.
