About the position
Accurate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented machine operator to join the team as a foamer. The role involves operating machinery to apply foam to fabric, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Be at your work station before the start of the shift.
- Check with Leader for the process that will be running.
- Make connections to appropriate chemical supplies.
- Set up foamer as instructed - reclaim when possible.
- Set up coating blade and bed with the leader's assistance.
- Set up equipment and make adjustments to start run.
- Ensure mix tank/reclaim troughs don't run over.
- End of run breakdown and clean up.
- Place equipment in storage areas for the next run.
- Return and weigh compound, record on Conover mix log.
- Monitor fabric for streaks under blade and remove them.
- Monitor fabric for proper orientation through the machine.
- Monitor the system for proper application of backing.
- Monitor the system for fabric imperfections.
- Watch roll and stop before it runs out.
- Help seam in roll.
- Help load next roll.
- Assist in other operations as instructed.
- Perform any other duties asked of you by your supervisors.
Requirements
- Detail and quality oriented.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Be able to work in appropriate PPE.
- Ability to operate a forklift preferred.
