As a Machine Operator I at Dawn Foods, you will play a crucial role in the production process by working with raw materials to complete mix formulas, mixing ingredients to create batches, and packaging materials for shipping. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), American Institute of Baking (AIB), International Food Standard (IFS), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products produced meet specifications and regulatory requirements, and you will operate auxiliary equipment as needed for each respective function. In this role, you will also be tasked with the accurate operation of computer systems as required in production processes. You will need to communicate effectively with fellow employees and report any quality, safety, scheduling, and food safety issues to your lead or supervisor. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation is essential, and you will be expected to adhere to all sanitation and safety regulations. Additionally, you will assist in training new team members and follow the guidelines outlined in the job description for your function. The position requires flexibility, as you will be working a 12-hour shift from 4:25 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week. You should be prepared to accommodate overtime needs as they arise. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of $21.24 per hour and a $1,000 signing bonus.
