About the position
The Machine Operator III position involves being a key member of the Co-Gen operating team, responsible for troubleshooting, adjusting, and operating water treatment equipment. The role requires maintaining proper water chemistry, operating river pumps, and supporting both inside and outside operator roles. The operator will also be expected to learn the operation of CoGen/BoHo systems and demonstrate compliance with safety practices and environmental requirements.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, adjust, and operate water treatment equipment.
- Maintain proper water chemistry and operate river pumps.
- Complete ETP rounds, compressor rounds, and other outside rounds.
- Support both inside and outside operator roles as necessary.
- Learn operation of CoGen/BoHo systems and effectively shutdown & start-up equipment.
- Demonstrate compliance with safety practices, environmental requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform data collection and entry, and maintain report data.
- Shutdown, start-up, and operate all outside area (WTP) equipment and inside area equipment (Co-Gen, steam system, water system, process air system, Rockwell control system).
- Participate in shift operations meetings and support the plan of the day as assigned.
- Complete routine maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid Pallet Jack Certification.
- Experience in water treatment.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay of $35 - $39.
- Full-time contract position with expected hours of 40 per week.
