About the position

Caliber Metals is seeking Machine Operators/Production Workers for their New Baltimore, Michigan location. This full-time position involves training to operate roll-forming machines, loading materials, and ensuring quality control in production. The role offers opportunities for overtime and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently run a roll-forming machine after training.
• Load light-gauge aluminum and steel using a jib crane.
• Feed metal into the roll form machine.
• Run 10ft metal roof-edge parts using the roll form mill.
• Pack parts in boxes and glue the boxes.
• Assemble and band finished skids of boxes into a shipping unit.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Understanding of quality control procedures and attention to detail.
• Experience with hand tools, materials handling, and fabrication is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
