About The Position

The Machine Operator Production position involves operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes. The role includes handling raw materials, packaging products, and performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment. Operators are expected to maintain product quality and cleanliness in the work area while adhering to safety protocols. This position requires physical stamina, as it involves lifting and moving heavy cases and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience with high speed production lines
• Experience with pallets, including operating a forklift
• Experience operating a packing machine
• Experience operating a filler machine
• Experience operating a palletizer
• Experience reading blueprints and production schedules
• Experience with computers in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with sanitization and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Experience with minor mechanical repairs
• Experience with preventative maintenance

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency
• Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
• Ensure package and product quality
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Operate all manufacturing equipment (including new technologies) efficiently and safely
• Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
• Expedite repairs to line, working with maintenance as necessary
• Keep daily records of down time and machine operations
• Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere
