About the position

The Machine Operator - Sanitizer at Pinch A Penny is responsible for operating production lines to ensure the quality of products. This role involves troubleshooting machinery, performing quality inspections, and maintaining product specifications in a fast-paced environment. The operator will work closely with team members to monitor materials and ensure efficient production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines according to work instructions to produce quality products.
• Perform first run quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products.
• Maintain product weight within item specifications.
• Ensure proper Lot Code dates are correct on packages and masters.
• Monitor material in hoppers or reservoir tanks and collaborate with the material handler and team lead.
• Monitor the appearance of the product and make necessary corrections within specifications.
• Perform efficient product changeovers and general housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Ability to stoop, lift, bend, and stand for long hours while operating equipment.
• Mathematical and organizational skills in production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Pass FIT testing and be respirator certified.
