About the position
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operators specializing in Thermoforming, Injection, and Extrusion to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring quality production, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. These roles require proficiency in handling hand tools and machinery, with a focus on precision and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including thermoforming, extrusion machines, and injection molding equipment.
- Fabricate components using hand tools and machinery, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Assemble parts and products as required, following detailed instructions.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in machining or operating similar machinery is preferred.
- Familiarity with plastics blow molding and injection molding processes is a plus.
- Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques to ensure product integrity.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
