About the position

The Machine Operator position is a permanent role located in Eatontown, NJ, responsible for operating high-speed production machinery to upload customer data into credit cards at bulk scale. The role requires attention to detail, quality inspection, and significant computer usage, with training provided on all equipment and processes. The position operates on a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, and offers a competitive pay rate along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Upload customer data into 'live' credit cards at bulk scale using high-speed production machinery.
  • Read customer order sheets to understand orders and stage materials for production.
  • Perform test runs with products and inspect the integrity of data uploaded to cards.
  • Conduct quality inspection checks for data integrity accuracy and functionality, including electronic sensor testing.
  • Utilize a computerized system to update data for each production run, with significant time spent on data entry.
  • Sign off on chain of custody sheets for each product run, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following written procedures and communicating with management about issues or low supplies.
  • Perform a variety of other duties as assigned, collaborating with team members as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; post high school education or vocational/technical training is highly desired.
  • At least two years of experience operating production machinery.
  • Ability to work in a federally regulated work environment (banking).
  • Strong attention to detail for quality inspection of products.
  • Strong computer skills, comfortable using computers for data entry and adjustments on CNC machinery.
  • Legible handwriting and ability to write neatly and concisely.
  • Ability to perform basic data entry and ensure accuracy.
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and carry materials.
