About the position
Aerotek is seeking Machine Operators for an immediate opening in the Essex/Old Saybrook area. The role involves operating and maintaining automated manufacturing machines, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Running and maintaining an automated manufacturing machine
- Unloading and loading the machine with raw materials
- Setting up machines before running
- Inspecting finished product using micrometers and calipers
- Performing routine maintenance including oil changes, coolant changes, and tooling changes during production.
Requirements
- Previous machine operation experience is preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow written work instructions in English
