Responsibilities

• Set up slitting machines by adjusting blades, spacers, and other components based on job specifications.
• Load large rolls or sheets of material onto the slitting machine, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure materials are cut to specified dimensions and meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular checks to identify and rectify defects or irregularities in the materials.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to address issues or accommodate different materials.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during operations.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, including quantity and dimensions of slit materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production flow and timely resolution of issues.

Requirements

• Experience operating slitting machines or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment.
