Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines (EVG, heavy mesh welder, Serrator, or other equipment) per job requirements.
• Start and adjust machinery to improve performance and minimize scrap.
• Perform quality control checks and maintain records.
• Handle general fabrication tasks such as welding, plasma cutting, torch use, fitting, spot welding, and blueprint reading.
• Follow all safety and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including the work area, tools, and workstations.

Requirements

• High school education required; associate degree preferred.
• 5 - 7 years of related industrial experience.
• Experience operating machines like EVG, with a focus on those requiring adjustments on control panels.
• Ability to monitor output against industry standards and make adjustments in real-time.
• Courses in mathematics, geometry, blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, metalworking, and safety practices are recommended.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in plasma cutting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
