About the position

Aerotek is seeking Machine Operators for a growing manufacturing company in Marengo, Illinois. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, as a structured in-house training program will be provided. The role involves operating CNC machines, maintaining production processes, and ensuring quality through inspections and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Loading machined components into CNC machines.
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of automated production CNC machine cells.
• Following work instructions with attention to detail.
• Using basic inspection gauges to assist inspectors (training provided).
• Troubleshooting tools that are cutting improperly and making necessary changes to correct root causes before tool failure.
• Setting up, running, and inspecting parts throughout the shift while troubleshooting common manufacturing issues.
• Working primarily with Matsuura and Makino Vertical & Horizontal Machining Centers, Saw Cutting, and Wash Systems.

Requirements

• No prior experience required, but relevant skills are a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Basic understanding of inspection processes.
