About the position
The Machine Tools Operations (MTO) QA Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that all inspected items meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship before reaching customers. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to perform accurate inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Count, inspect, and record batches, while identifying and routing products for touch-ups and logging quality defects in operations.
- Identify and classify quality defects by type and severity, ensuring consistent product standards.
- Apply knowledge in laser engraving requirements and overall Rhodium plating processes as part of quality assessments.
- Train new team members, whether internal or newly hired, on quality inspection protocols.
Requirements
- Ability to work with small pieces and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong hand-eye coordination for detail-oriented work.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a plating environment.
