About the position
Heritage Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking individuals with experience in rigging, machinery moving, and industrial dismantlement. The role involves using various rigging tools and techniques to safely move and dismantle heavy machinery. Candidates will be trained if they possess the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assess and implement proper rigging techniques for lifting operations.
- Operate and signal cranes during lifting operations.
- Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
- Handle heavy equipment including forklifts and man lifts.
- Perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Knowledge of rigging tools, their capacities, and limitations.
- Experience with industry tools such as wire rope, nylon slings, chain falls, shackles, and hand tools.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Basic knowledge of operating heavy equipment including forklifts and man lifts.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle physical workload.
- Valid driver's license required; Class A CDL is a plus.
