About The Position

The Machining Operator at PACCAR Inc is responsible for adhering to high-quality manufacturing standards while operating and maintaining CNC machines and associated equipment. The role requires flexibility in job assignments and a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years machining experience
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Good math skills and basic understanding of TS-16949 process and procedures
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC)
• Basic gage measurement experience
• PC experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Adhere to PACCAR's high quality standards by measuring and adjusting manufacturing processes accordingly
• Learn multiple CNC machines, inspection stations, and ancillary equipment
• Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance routines to filters, automation, spindles, and other process equipment
• Troubleshoot production stations and associated equipment
• Make program offsets to maintain part quality
• Problem solve and determine root cause of issues
• Work all shifts with reasonable notice and some overtime
