About the position

Responsibilities

• Operate machine shop equipment.
• Overhaul and repair pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance on engine controls and diesel engines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in repair and maintenance of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Experience with EMD, MTU, Detroit, John Deere, and Caterpillar diesel engines is desired.
• Ability to work from sketches, manuals, and blueprints.

Nice-to-haves

• Marine or shipyard experience is preferred.
