About the position

Aerotek is seeking CNC Machinists to join a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Marengo, Illinois. The role involves operating and maintaining automated CNC machine cells, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality production. Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operations of automated production CNC machine cells.
• Fluently use all machine tooling.
• Troubleshoot tools that are cutting improperly and make necessary changes to correct root causes before tool failure.
• Set up, run, and inspect parts throughout the shift while troubleshooting common manufacturing issues.
• Primarily work with Makino and DMG machines.

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC machines, preferably Makino and DMG.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality production.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CNC programming.
