About the position

Aerotek is seeking 15 Machinists and Machine Operators for a world-class CNC machining operation in Marengo, Illinois. This role involves maintaining day-to-day operations of automated production CNC machine cells, troubleshooting tools, and ensuring quality production. The position offers structured in-house training and opportunities for career growth within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operations of automated production CNC machine cells.
• Fluent use of all machine tooling and troubleshooting tools that are cutting improperly.
• Make necessary changes to correct root causes before tool failure.
• Set up, run, and inspect parts throughout the shift.
• Troubleshoot common manufacturing issues.

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC machines, specifically Makino and DMG machines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a machining environment.
• Knowledge of CNC programming.
