About the position

Dakota College at Bottineau is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator for the DCB location at the Minot Air Force Base. This full-time position serves as the first point of contact for DCB at the base, which includes a variety of administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, responding to emails, and assisting with inquiries. The Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in advising students at the Minot Air Force Base, promoting DCB programs, assisting students with the enrollment process, and representing DCB at various military functions. Strong customer service skills are essential for this role, as the coordinator will interact with a diverse group of students and military personnel. The Program Coordinator will be involved in various administrative duties that require excellent communication skills, both written and oral. The role demands comprehensive technology skills, particularly in using Microsoft Office, and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while managing confidential information. The successful candidate will need to be well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment. This position also requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for DCB at the Minot Air Force Base.
  • Answer phone calls and greet visitors.
  • Respond to emails and assist with inquiries.
  • Advise students at the MAFB regarding programs and enrollment.
  • Promote DCB programs to potential students.
  • Assist students with the enrollment process.
  • Represent DCB at various military functions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in office management, administrative assistant, or a closely related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Comprehensive technology skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced/changing environment.
  • High level of professionalism and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
