The Pharmacy Care Representative at H-E-B plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and patient care within the pharmacy environment. Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and patient care in collaboration with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Receive and verify written prescriptions and demographic information from customers.
• Process prescriptions and refill numbers into the RXEVO system.
• Generate and maintain prescription-related paperwork and files.
• Direct customers to the appropriate services and assist with consultations as needed.
• Participate in inventory management and ensure accurate stocking of OTC products.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist with professional services such as immunization scheduling and medication therapy management events.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail; pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Completion of required training and certifications (e.g., PCR, RXEVO, HIPAA).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Mathematical skills for calculating measurements.
• PC skills, including MS Office and H-E-B software.
