About the position

The Mail Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the Mail/Distribution Services department for a reputable company based in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is crucial for ensuring that the mail workflow is efficient and that all transactions are handled accurately. The Mail Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and productivity within the department, which is essential for enhancing the value of customer communication. In this role, the manager will supervise three shifts comprising a total of 75 staff members. This involves optimizing workflow and service levels to meet the demands of the business. The Mail Operations Manager will monitor and coordinate daily mail and scanning processes, ensuring that the team meets established quality and productivity goals. Additionally, the manager will be tasked with managing the team, which includes conducting training sessions, performance reviews, and making critical decisions that affect the department's operations. The Mail Operations Manager will also serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, addressing any issues that arise and escalating critical matters as necessary. Collaboration with support departments will be essential to ensure smooth operations. Furthermore, the manager will review and enhance operational procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Oversight of equipment utilization and special projects will also fall under the manager's responsibilities, along with coordinating mail delivery with USPS and other locations to ensure timely and accurate service.

Responsibilities

Requirements
